Yes, every patron (staff/students) must do library registration to be able to borrow a book(s)
It is very easy to register for an account. You can click here and fill out the form or follow the instructions below
- Step 1: Go to ttl.run.edu.ng
- Step 2: Click on the myLibrary button
- Step 3: Scroll to the bottom of the page and select the "You may register here" link
- Step 4: Follow the instructions on the form
It is quite easy to seach for a book or resource on the OPAC. You can watch this video or follow the instructions below.
- Step 1: Go to ttl.run.edu.ng
- Step 2: Click on Advance Search
- Step 3: Type the keyword of any resources you are searching for
- Step 4: Scroll down and select the right parameter to search with e.g. Books, journal articles, newspaper articles, etc.
- Step 5: Click on Search
- Step 3: Select the book (s) of your choice
- Step 3: You can then place the book on hold, add to your cart for further processing(e.g email, print, download etc) or get the call number to find the item on the shelf for reading in the library or borrowing the item, if available for loan.
Once you have the book's call number (Refer to the instructionon on searching above), go to the shelf with the call number, check the shelfguide to locate the book(s) or ask Library staff for help locating the book
Take the book (s) to the Circulation desk and tell the Library Personnel that you want to return the book.
No, leave used book(s) on the table.
You can only borrow two books for two weeks. If a borrowed book is not returned on the due date, a fine will be applied.
PGD, MSc, and Ph.D. students can borrow four books for four weeks.If a borrowed book is not returned on the due date, a fine will be applied.
Academic staff is entitled to four books for four weeks.If a borrowed book is not returned on the due date, a fine will be applied.
Non-academic staff can only borrow two books for two weeks.If a borrowed book is not returned on the due date, a fine will be applied.
Renewal: The borrowed book(s) can be renewed at the Circulation Help Desk.

Yes, you can use your laptop at designated locations within the library. You may not need a personal laptop at the e-Library because there are computers for patrons.
Backpacks, suitcases or bags are not allowed in the reading area
Yes, books can be returned on weekends, except when the school is on holiday.
You will have to pay the cost of replacement.
